Board Rules

1) No Godmoding. This simply means, do not state definite actions or determine the outcome of an action for another player. (Examples of Godmoding: "John smashed Jim straight in the face, shattering his jaw." or "John offers Liz to join him for the evening in his quarters, and she agrees"). During combat, in-mecha or otherwise, it is the GM that determines the outcome based on the rules of combat. In the second case, where another character's actions are decided for them, this is a strict no-no.

2) Please mind your posting rate. Regular posting is very important, as one absentee can drag the entire game to a halt. We ask for one post per week during combat phases - failure to post for an unreasonable amount of time without letting your GM know beforehand may result in that GM taking control of your character for the round to keep the game moving, and a penalty will be applied. Penalties range depending on the length of the absence and the player's posting record, but are typically nothing more than a statement that the character simply hesitates in the heat of battle and takes no action that round.

3) Respect other players, GMs, and yourself. No one expects everyone to agree, or be perfect. What we do expect is that posters will help us facilitate a friendly, stress-free playing environment.

4) For ease of reference, each character must have a separate board account, where the Login ID is either the character's name or callsign. This will help other players and GMs know which character is posting, their rank, which squadron they belong to, etc. In order to start new topics, all new members must make a post in the Introductions thread (this is to block spam bots).

5) Do not post on game boards of which you are not a member, unless your character has crossed over into that game for a story arc. The General Discussion board is open to all members and non-members alike.
