The UNS Shogun's intelligence department has released the grim details of the series of murders which took place in the early morning hours of July 22. Eight variable fighter pilots, all from the Shogun's special operations Wildfire Squadron, were killed between 0530 and 0610 hours, leaving no discernible clues as to the identity of the murderer. The Shogun has gone to high alert while the intelligence department continues to investigate this incident, and all personnel are advised to exercise extreme caution.
A memorial service for the slain pilots will be scheduled upon the Shogun's return to Earth.
